These pouches date back to the Yugoslav wars - the Serbian Army had a pretty wide array of gear despite being the most 'organized' at the beginning. This style of pouch (plus some in plain olive drab) could be found attached to various vests. The pouch has ALICE compatible strips which when added with a clip, can mount to belts or vests of the same system - OR - you can utilize the hook and loop on the back as some soldiers did for a less secure attachment. The utility is simple - space to store a single 7.62 AK mag with a hook & loop flap plus snap dome. Although getting on a bit in age/technology, these are still built really well in fantastic condition and still easy to use.
With such great condition, these pouches are definitely one for the Serbian collectors! Alternatively a decent pouch for shooting or airsoft.

*Note* These do NOT come with a ALICE clip. The last photo is an example - they dont quite span the back strap but can be pinched in the middle. We tried but you can definitely not mount a pair of them on those small side slithers.
