These cables are all new quality replacement cables for your Adtran router or switch. These DB9 cables allow you to console into Adtran units and reach the command line interface. Direct console access is required for several important commands such as factory defaulting units or removing passwords. Each console cable plugs into a serial port on your PC. Straight DB9 to DB9 connect. For use with a blue face router or switch Part #: 1200881E1 Examples includes the Adtran Total Access 900 series, Adtran NetVanta 1500 series, etc. These cables WILL NOT WORK if you do not have a console port on your PC (if using a laptop you will need DB9 to USB). These cables will not work on the older white faced Adtran units including the Total Access 600 series for example.
